The Mid Atlantic Board Riders (MABR) is a regional managing body for the US Board Riders Clubs (USBRC). Our 6 state region includes Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Our member clubs participate via an affiliation agreement that grants MABR certain rights and ensures that we have a clear set of operating principles and priorities. We work collaboratively with our member clubs in competition format and standards, sponsorship development, product licensing, content development and production, club best practices and services procurement.
While competition is a key part of what we do, and our unique “tag team” contest format is fun and exciting, it’s actually the work that all of our member Board Riders clubs do on a year-round basis in their local communities that makes them so special.
From beach clean-ups and BBQs, water safety and CPR training, movie nights and community learn-to-surf days, and annual scholarship awards to deserving club members to continue their educations, our clubs are having a real impact on the lives of every member in every community.
